Waste management practices in a peri-urban village adapting to new municipal collection rules. Behaviours at the edge of urban transition.

What You'll Do

Ethnographic site visits

Observe and engage residents, vendors, and municipal workers across both sites. Map behaviours through a design lens.

Post-field data compilation

Organise field notes, photos, and observations into clear PPT decks or written reports others can act on.

Design synthesis

Frame opportunity spaces from behavioural insights. Not just documentation but interpretation and meaning-making.

Who We're Looking For

·Final-year design student or recent graduate with fieldwork appetite
·Strong foundation in ethnography, qualitative data, and behavioural observation
·Comfortable with ambiguity and good at finding signal in messy, real contexts
·Design lens for analysis: not just documentation but interpretation
·Physically present in Delhi NCR, available to start 15 April
·Eager to contribute to meaningful social design research
